Electronically Controlled Locking
Caplok Custodial locking provides a very high level of security and remote control form some common low security electronically operated drop bolts or electro-magnetic locks that are installed in the doorframe head.
When used in conjunction with other manually operated locking devices, custodial and containment applications can have all the remotely controlled locking functions that are now required, while retaining the maximum level of security.
The Caplok Custodial Configuration provides almost no opportunity to impart any load on an electrically operated lock that may hinder or restrict the lock working normally.
One or more electrically operated drop bolts or electromagnetic locks will provide simple, reliable, and very cost effective access control solutions.
While retaining all the standard self-latching functions, if the door is not fully closed and captive, the electric locks will not engage.
If there is a sideways force applied to the door to prevent the electronic lock disengaging, operating the DAC will move the door into a position where the lock will disengage.
