Self Latching Custodial Door
One of the most significant features of the CAPLOK Custodial configurations is the doors self-latching function.
When the door closes against the doorframe, the door automatically slides sideways into the captive position and highly resistant to forced opening.
If needed, either electrically operated or self-latching mechanically operated locks can automatically engage to retain the door in the captive position or manually operated locks can also be engaged.
If the door is required to remain manually opened, without the locks engaged the door can be manually moved sideways out of the captive position so it can be pushed open.
Doors can also remain closed and latched without locking so they can be easily opened from either side.
